Lake Austin Spa Resort Named #1 Destination Spa in the U.S., Canada, Central America, the Caribbean and at Sea in Condé Nast Traveler 2011 Top Spas List

Spa Ranked as Only One of Two Texas Spas in Top 100

AUSTIN, TX – The votes have been tallied and the readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine have ranked the top 250 spas from around the world in their annual “250 Top Spas” list featured in the June 2011 issue. Lake Austin Spa Resort achieved a top ranking on the list of all resort spas and once again has been named the #1 destination spa among its competitors. The property is only one of two Texas properties in the top 100.

More than twenty five thousand responses revealed consistent rankings in treatments, staff and facilities for the 40-room destination spa on the shores of Lake Austin. An ever-evolving spa menu, a philanthropic partnership benefitting pets, as well as ongoing enhancements to the property including refurnishing the Garden Library, Lake Room, Guest Living Room and the addition of several new fitness programs demonstrate that this destination is not one to rest on its laurels.
